Learn from our mistakes... from our pockets

There is one malay proverb which sounds ' Bila dah terhantuk, baru nak terjaga' which means once you knocked your head, then you realise. Unfortunately, I do not think such proverb exist in my life. I've been making the same mistake over and over again. I do know the consequences but yeah, I am very stubborn indeed. It is like once everything is gone, then you will understand. Yeah right I do understand but once I lay my hands on them, I will choose to let it go away, easily.

Yeah, so what am I trying to portray in this simple phrases of words in the 1st paragraph? Ok, basically...this post is about how I am handling with my money in my pocket. You will come to a point thinking, why on earth did I spend my money on that particular item? What was I thinking...after a while, you will try to block your logical mind by saying, what has been done cannot be changed and yeah, you need to live with it.

So, what did I do with my money? Where have it all gone? My answer is simply I do not know...I simply realised that buying all those groceries, you actually need to have a list, a game plan as you might or might not know, TESCO, ASDA and SAINSBURY are war fields. You will be ambushed with all those good looking, nice smelling, and highly priced goods. While walking along the aile, your hands moves randomly, you tend to pick up some cheese, some ice creams, some nice looking smoked fishes, most unnecessary items and when you reach the counter, you will be shocked to see how full your basket is and how heavy it will be. When you reach your pocket, you would say . 'ala, duit ni memang untuk makan pun' which means these money are for foodstuff, so why bother. But yeah, those foods are unnecesary foods and I simply need to cut down my spending. I did not spend much on clothing, I did not travel that much this year so I guess most of my money goes into the toilet bowl....:P
