Jet Lag

I am still awake. I have tried to close my eyes but they are as fresh as the fishes caught by Kuantan's Fisherman sold at the Kuantan jetty early in the morning. I am now in London, I arrived yesterday at 3 pm (London Time) and went straight home and had a total body shutdown and collapsed till 12pm. I woke up at 12.05 and I'm still awake till now, 5.38 am. I took Ehtihad Airways and I can say that Ehtihad is among the best airlines for its economy class travel. On my way back to london, my flight was empty, I can even count the number of passengers on board of the flight. Just imagine that in my area(cabin) there were only 6 passengers and I took an entire center seating area and turned it into a bed. But I did not sleep well thought, I watched movies along the journey. My whole journey from Kuala Lumpur to London took a lot of my energy, thanks to the 7 hours transit at Abu Dhabi Airport. The airport would be the second most boring airport I have ever visited followed after Muscat Airport. There was only this one big rounded area where everyone were cramped into and there was only one toilet facility in the building. Just imagine that! As I arrived to London Heatrow Airport, I wanted to take the normal underground train to central London but I accidentally discovered London Connect, a train service which goes directly to London Paddington Station with a minimal price of only 6.90 pounds. When I arrived home, I was greeted by Hadi and Yameen who had to come back home from somewhere just to open my door house for me. When I arrived home after Hadi opened the door, I opened my bag and started to distribute Hadi's and my other friends' 'kirim' stuffs. I was surprised to found out that I have brought nothing for myself except for 5 individual packs of meggi tomyam and some unwashed clothes. I was very hungry after I reached home so I dialed Delta Pizza and that was my Lunch and Dinner for the day. After the meal I closed my curtains and went straight to bed...Now its almost 6am and I'm still awake..Need to study ASAP! Ciao.

The Spider Nightmare

I had a very terrible nightmare yesterday. I have not had such nightmares for quite some time. A nightmare which I will remember because of its high degree of scariness which will be haunting me for a few days for sure. Generally, the story of the nightmare was something like this:

I was having happy moments in life, with family and friends were all around me. I was happy in the beginning of the story. Somehow, unexplainable situation caused a group of spiders swarmed into my house and started to bite everyone. I ran leaving my family and friends behind and when I turned my face back to them, they were all lying on the floor. Dead... I was all alone and decided to jump down from the roof when I was finally tangled on a large spider's web and that was the part when I woke up.

I could not remember all the details but when I woke up, cold sweat was covering my body and my heart was beating like crazy.....I asked to myself, what kind of sign is this?

Hurm...Sometimes I think

10 days have passed since I last wrote. I spent most of my days in Kuala Lumpur instead of Kuantan. Traveled daily to Shah Alam-Damansara-Subang-The Mines. Met most of my old friends and made a few new ones along the way. Few beautiful ones as well..hehe.Would wake up early in the morning and go for a swim before the powerful tropical sun starts to shine. Turn on the air conditioning system to the lowest available temperature avoiding critical temperature hotness of the body that might kill me. Watch Astro and last but not least, enjoying Malaysian Cuisine in my every meal. And yes, a few dosages of Mcdonalds, Kfc's,Burger King, Kenny Rogers and Nandos will do the job. Let me not talk about studies this time... Going on with my next issue would be the political drama of my country.

Lately, newspapers here are being bombarded by huge coverage on one of Malaysian most powerful political party , UMNO. My first question to all those out there who might supports the party, do you know what does UMNO stands for? And the answer is... United Malays National Organisation . I can see and read that from the first page till the center page, UMNO is the hottest topic on the paper nowadays. A few political drama were raised such as The present prime minister should step down and someone should stand up to lead Malaysia, A few candidates refuses to hold positions in the party, The party is currently losing its power, and the people of the party are starting to blame one another. The most important thing would be..UMNO is currently the most leading party in the country and if something bad might happen to the party, it means that something bad will definitely happen to Malaysia! I am not a political guy but the stability of Malaysia, my country has always been my major concern. It is totally unethical to blame the people around you who are leading the people and the people who follows their leader because such group will keep on existing. Rather than raising such problems to make up headlines, why can't the people simply move on, accept facts and throw away fictions, make all the possible moves to keep the country on track. Remember, If we are focusing too much on bleeding hands, our legs could not move.. Try to think global instead of arguing the internal things which will never resolve.
My conclusion is..-Please settle all these nonsense quickly and start thinking ahead-

Malaysian weather is totally crazy! In the morning, when I wake up I would look out of my window and I can barely see KLCC towers from a distance away. Haze is covering the whole of Kuala Lumpur like a black blanket of poisonous gas. Come to think of it, there are almost 2 million people living under that poisonous blanket everyday..huhu.. Isnt there any scientific technology to actually absorb the haze to reduce it to a certain acceptable level?(May be the next million dollar breakthrough by Jeff) Besides that, we can never predict thunderstorms like we used to. You have thunderstorms everyday which starts after 4pm! Or maybe these thunderstorms are nature's way to reduce the haze..only god knows.

I guess thats all for now. This post is boring because Im taking my break from my books. I need to write an academic essay on my film studies assignment covering the movie 'Pulp Fiction'. It is kinda hard to get the movie here in Malaysia so I will need to contact my friends whether they have a copy of the film in their hardisks. I've watched it once but I need to make a full analysis on the camera movement, the types of editing, the roles of the characters and bla bla bla...Not that much, just a 5000 words essay. The last thing is that, I can't wait to be an uncle soon(my brother's wife is going to give birth soooooonn...Will it be Uncle Jeff...Or should I be Uncle Al-Amin..hehe..or Uncle Johan sounds more like a Malay Drama Character.Till the baby is born. we'll meet again. Ciao Bella.

Speed

Speed is A word which I seek everyday nowadays. I need speed badly, I need it in my veins. Erm, before anything..Please do not be mistaken, I'm not talking about drugs here. This is just the metaphor for the kind of motivation I need to keep me going. I am now on my second gear in my studies, I need to put more effort on it. I believe, I am now far left behind compared to my friends.

Speed to me also resembles the supersonic speed of how my life is playing in the 'dvd player of my life' these days, and I need to catch up on many things in my life. Most of the things in life that I took for granted, the inconvenient truth of life which remains to be lies all these years, and the all the blessings that I have missed to appreciate. I cannot rewind nor forward it but living in the play mode keeps you fully occupied. From A favorite quote of one of my favorite movies, Forest Gump ''Life is like a box of chocolates, You'll never know what you'll get''. I can say that life is indeed like a box of chocolate. You'll have the smooth milk chocolate sweet in taste, the dark chocolate with a hint of bitterness, and the white chocolate smooth in texture. You'll eat these chocolates, but you know someday you're going to finish it and when that day comes, do you really have the money to buy a new box of chocolates? Or does the chocolate that you ate a moment ago was the last bite you'll ever have. Anyway, while you're having your chocolate, do share it with the people around you because giving away your chocolates doesn't mean that you are throwing it away as waste, it is actually a symbol and effort by you to show that you care for the people around you. And remember, Never hope for the next box to be free.

The third thing on speed. I am now pushing my car's limit. 170-180km/h is not a problem anymore. But I would normally do this when I'm all alone driving. In the long stretch of road near the Kuantan Airport. Yeah I know 160-180 km/h is nothing compared to those nissan R35 GTR or Subaru Impreza or even Lancer cars but since thats the limit of my car now, Im quite pleased with that. And I would even close my eyes for a few seconds at that speed just to get the feeling of being alive. Talking about summons, I got a few but it doesn't stop me to keep on going. Yes, I am crazy with speed. Speed Drives me!

Will try to reincarnate you this summer

My Pen

I am now in my brother's room in Kuantan. On my laptop writing this blog. Using an internet connection which isn't ours.hehe(Been connected to my neighbour's internet connection since there is a major problem with the phone connection with Telekom for the past few years and they have yet to resolve it-I'll tell my good neighbor that I've been hacking to their internet after accidentally guessed the right password.hehe) .. Ok, Here I am in Malaysia with full of phone calls/sms from my friends who keep on calling asking me out. My money is draining faster than I thought since your friends would think that the 100% increased scholarship would be able to feed them(berbelas belas ekor jin) for a month. haha.. Just kidding guys, 'ye la nanti bulan 6 aku buat internship tak pun kerja kat uk'. I've been applying interships quite a few now but most of it gave me false promises. I think because of the past year's results, It has been hard for me to successfully apply any interships this year. For that particular reason, I can imagine if I keep on going with this pace, I would be having a hard time in the future to get a job. I'm now downloading all the subjects syllabus and notes from webct@imperial so that I can study here in Malaysia although the environment is not at its best! I need to be in Imperial's library instead, third floor or fourth floor reading my notes and doing my tutorial sheets. And someone to be there to help me with all these problem sheets solutions which I barely able to understand. Arghhh.. I am scared now...Very very scared. Thinking about feeding your family when you're simply unable to feed yourself in the future..Thats my main motivation now!

Majlis Aqad Nikah

The new family guy

I guess thats all for my worries on my academic performance in this post. The next thing that I would like to share, there is now a brand new family member in our family. He's a pilot(commercial MAS airlines), quite hansome so he fits to be in our family.haha.I call him Abang Shukri, He's quite shy though, although I've tried to make stupid jokes around him. My jokes doesnt seem to work.Don't know why, maybe I need to go to some jokes class. Here is a picture of our new family member. And Yes. I am looking fat in the picture.. Thanks to All those malaysian food that I've been keeping putting into my stomach..Kueh teow kerang, nasi goreng kampung, tomyam udang galah, nasi goreng paprik, roti canai, teh tarik kaw kaw(the list doesnt stop trust me) followed by resting like a python. I think that is all for now, Here in Malaysia, Happy but missing something.
