Vader Blunt

From the star beneath Andromeda, A Vader was born on a Saturday morning....He sang this song wishing he was home.haha

Trouble is her only friend and he's back again|Makes her body older than it really is|And she|says it's high time she went away|No ones got much to say in this town|Trouble is the only way is down, down, down|As strong as you were|Tender you go|I'm watching you breathing|For the last time|A song for your heart|But when it is quiet|I know what it means|And I'll carry you home|I'll carry you home|If she had wings she would fly away|And another day god will give her some|Trouble is the only way is down, down, down|As strong as you were|Tender you go|I'm watching you breathing for the last time|A song for your heart|But when it is quiet|I know what it means|I'll carry you home|I'll carry you home|

Windu Grumah

While walking along Oxford Street right after class today, I saw a family sitting in a restaurant having their dinner together. Out of the sudden, I began wondering about my family back home, about 10*10^3 kilometers in Malaysia. What are they doing right now, are they having breakfast together, are they in work, in class or even relaxing at home? Do they even have time to think that I'm here in London, walking in Oxford Street. . Anyway, I do miss home, I miss my parents, my brothers and sisters too. Besides that, I miss Kuantan and Shah Alam not forgetting Taman Tun, Seremban and Mines. I miss the food, My mum's cookings, seafood madness in Kuantan and the Mapleys late night, Futsall at 1 am till 3, my friends who showed me how rainbows should be in black and white and my cousins who would follow me where ever I go. I miss my car, the fast speeding perdana with no back lights and one broken front light, the pajero which almost took my life four times in 2 years, and my brother's ''waja henjin tak hingat punye''..I miss my cat who ate my rabbits, I miss my room and my 'robert the T-rex skeleton', I miss Balakong and Suntat Pusat Snooker. I miss sitting alone by the sea thinking about my future, I miss playing kites and 'mandi sungai', I miss fishing and jungle trekking and I miss staying in the middle of the jungle. I miss pouring petrol into my car and I miss waking up late and go friday prayer in the mosque with khutbah in Malay. I simply miss or in malay 'windu'..

My latest family picture, a day before my flight back to London. From Left standing, me, Irman, Abang Eddy, Kaklong, Ena, Kak Ira. Sitting in front, bapa and mama.

ChaNGing tHe aPPEarance of my Blog

Hello peeps..I think it is the right time for me to change the template of my blog. The first reason is because I feel like doing so and the other reason is because I've once read a book ,'buku teks pendidikan jasmani darjah 3' where all the words in the book were green in colour. If you don't believe me, try to ask your little sisters, brothers or even cousins for a copy. They actually wrote in the beginning of the book that scientific research shows that by staring at green colours, it relaxes your eyes and improves vision. I don't really know the truth about this particular statement but let me give a try, who knows It does really helps..

James Hillier Blount Concert

-All the lost Souls-
The souls

Blunt Singing 'Wiseman'

While browsing in the internet, I was buzzed by a friend, Dani who is currently studying in Lancashire telling me that he have found 4 tickets to James Blunt's concert in Appolo London on ebay. The ticket's face price was 29 pounds per ticket but since the seller was upset as his friends pulled off last minute, he decided to sell the ticket as low as 15 pounds which makes a lost of 14 pounds per ticket. Since I bought 4 tickets, I managed to save 56 pounds and he managed to lose 56 pounds+the chance to see and hear james blunt live. The four of us who watched the show were Hadi, Yazmin, Fariza and me.

Since Hadi and Yazmin are the ones who have finalized the stand to watch the show, I needed to find another person but I did not managed to find one, how could I?.Fariza have only decided to go right after she woke up from her sleep in the prayer room at 10am of the concert day with a compulsory 5 pounds discount on the ticket. Thanks Fariza, 'pandai main'..

As usual we arrived quite late at about 6.40 pm.Fariza and Hadi 'la make up and setting rambut lama sangat'. Although the show started at 7pm, we should have come earlier to be ahead of the queue so that we can be right in front of the stage and watch james blunt much closer. The show started as 'early' as 7.30 with an opening act by 'The Bishops', a local band who would follow to every James Blunt's gig/concert( must have been his brother/ cousin who would 'tumpang glemer sedare'.. The first 15 minutes, we were impressed by the band and I can hear people saying 'Cute la bassist die main macam robot' and 'mana satu yang high voice, mana satu yang low voice?'..After the glorious 15 minutes, the other 30 minutes was totally a disaster since they were playing the same kind of songs through their show and If I would have a banana at the moment, I would have thrown it. But Yazmin, being a nice girl keep on telling 'support la diorang, diorang kan support James Blunt' when she was the one who finally said 'bile diorang nak habis main ni?'..

At exactly 8.30pm. some kind of advertisement came out projected on the wall on the topic of global warming. Showing ice melts and so on..Boring stuff but truly educational.hehe. Later, James blunt appeared out of the boredom day, singing his first song 'same mistake' which was from his latest album. I was quite impressed to know that the sound you hear from the radio/tv is exactly the same as that night and right after he finished his songs everyone started to scream and shouted. Later, he sang most of his songs from his new album followed by a few of his past albums. One song, 'no bravery' was one of the most inspiring song that night, a song about the war in Kosovo in 1998. Apparently, Blunt was a captain in the British Army and he was the first British Officer to step his foot in the capital city Priština.(wikipedia.com). Anyway, the song was about the suffering of people of Bosnia and it I was simply sad enough to realize that while we were having fun that night, there are people in the world who are still facing war. Why can't all these nonsense simply stop?..

Blunt also sang three of his singles, 'you're beautiful', 'goodbye my lover' and '1973'. To wrap up my post, James Blunt is a good musician and being a fan of him for the past 4 years has finally paid off to know that he performs well in concerts and I was in one of his concerts...

The end of the show

Thank you jeff? No No..hehe

How to get your body fit!

Ahh..As I was on the bus today at 9am although my class was supposed to start at 9(i woke up late), I took a paper which was on the seat just beside me. As I browse in the pages, I came across this one topic on how to maintain and keep your body fit! Just a few pages after that, another topic on turning fat into muscles. A lot pictures, tips and exercise diagrams and diets were shown on the pages. It seems that becoming fit is quite a main topic today. Anyhow, this topic has triggered my conscious towards my body( its getting fatter by day without regular exercises), and how I love to be in shape just like old days when I was in RMC( Royal Military College). Now I can finally acknowledge hundreds of push ups, hundreds of sit ups, and even thousands of hopping would definitely turn your body into a solid muscle machine. Here are some old pictures during my time when I was boy..

Cirit or die

Here is a poem which I wrote while having a very bad stomach day....

Sounds of growling from a pouch in my body,
Pushing and turning as if the world stops spinning,
Every second seems like an hour of torture,
Fighting this stupid darkest desire.

Sounds does not come all alone,
Slow moving winds with smell of rotten eggs,
I did not eat anything for the entire day,
But winds of hell keeps on blowing gently.

Open the door, hoping for forgiveness,
Heaven does not come easily without suffering,
How hard you push seems so empty,
As the sins started to come out easily.

Sumpah sakit perut harini,
Silap aku gak makan oyster murah di pasar,
Orang lain kali beli kat Sainsbury,
Rasakan Cirit or die pada hari ini.

New Year's Resolution

What does new year means to you? A new hope, a new dream, a new target, a new lover, a new car, new shoes and the list goes on forever.Every year, I would have myown lists of new year's resolution and I can still remember the moment I made my wishes; with my friends in a circle overlooking the fog of smoke with lights of the fireworks near London Eye. We closed our eyes and I was telling to myself that 2008 will be a great year for me! Here are some of the wishes and resolution that struck my mind at the moment;

1. To be a better person as a whole; trust in yourself and 'pergi mampus dengan benda lain'
2. Achieve greater limits in life and never look down
3. Never make anyone sad and help anyone who might be needing it
4. Get a cat and name her 'chikaro'
5. Love my family and friends more than previous years
6. Do not start smoking but keep on selling cigarettes
7. welcome antartica

Summary of a GreaT Holiday

Figure 1a.Gelimat Song!

Figure 1b. Gelimat wannabe

For the entire winter holiday span, I could say that this year's winter holiday is the best winter holiday that I had so far as a student here in London, UK. Just imagine 3 weeks of unplanned holiday that turns out to be exciting, tiring, mind challenging, crazy and with the most important element, happiness! The holiday was filled with these kind of great atmosphere just because I had lots of friends around during the holiday. Besides that, I have made new Malaysian friends who are currently studying in New Zealand,Ireland, US and even France.

Figure 2c. I can swim!
At the start of the holiday, since I have not planned anything, Syaza with her brilliant suggestion raised up the idea of going on a road trip to Stonehenge and visit Bath. It was a one day plan and before I knew it, I was in Azrul's car heading to stonehenge. It was a historical place to visit although none of the people would actually know what the hell on earth stones being arranged in such formation in the past. After visiting stonehenge, We went to Bath and visited the Roman Baths. I was getting ready with my swimming pants when we later found out that with the charge of 8.70 pounds, taking your bath was not included. Are they serious?

Figure 3d. Check in and Check out-London Student Accomodation

The peak time of the holiday would be from the 24th December to the 31st December! We had a great Christmas Eve dinner on the 24th December where I managed to cook 35 pieces of lamb chops without using an oven. It was a fun night where everyone were in my room chatting, playing games and enjoyed the rest of the night. We even exchanged presents trying to spread the spirit of giving(belanja) ourclosest friends around us

Figure 4b. The happy Couple(eddy n kak ira)
On the 26th December, I have my older brother and his wife visiting me including my friends from all around the world. It was the most tiring week of my life of the year but I found it to be the best moments of 2007. Just imagine, I would show my brother around London in the day and later at night I would mingle with my friends. To have a family member visiting you in a place like London is definitely a worth experience that you would not trade with anything else. Talking about entertainments and foods, Frankly speaking, I could not even count how many movies we watched together, how many tea and coffees we made along the way and how many pizza's and fried chicken we ate along the way. By knowing that I watched Will Smith's 'I am Legend' for 3 times in 3 night shows that we had different people coming in and out of the house!

Figure 5c. Happyiness
The new year's celebration was also one of the peak points of the entire holiday where I can conclude that we had a crazy night to begin our crazy year. Since everything was poorly planned in the first place, we did not expect it to be as fun as what we had for the night. To meet up at 11 pm at Charing Cross tube station would be the greatest mistake that we have made. Just imagine a group of malaysian trying to walk in crowd of 700,000 to actually find a spot to see fireworks near London Eye in time less than an hour. We walked and walked in a chaotic crowd of people, when we later found out that our way was blocked by a fenced garden. In an unpredictable sequence, we decided to jump over the fence to actually be closer to London Eye. We did actually do that, some of us got injured along the way which were Hakim with his elbow and Dyana with his scratched finger, while Kam, Lisz and Irwan got their jeans thorned off. We managed to see the eye for the first one minute and that was all since raining started to poured down creating a fog which have cause limited visual of the eye. We later went back home walking that night in the streets of london singing New Year's songs with the other 700 000 londoners around! When we arrived home, pizza's were waiting us but since we did not expect that many friends to turned up, 2 people needed to share a pizza and during that time of the night, I can say our stomach is craving for food more than any time of the day. We played Vampire game cards and enjoyed shisha and that was the start of a new year! Welcome 2008!

Last but not least, this holiday were filled with lots of love where we can see new relationships were formed and I do hope they last. And by following my brother and his wife around London, the feeling of needing is getting more intense accompanied with peer pressure. The 'Wings of Desire'!
