A Sauce Story

I watched a reality tv show which was called The Dragon's Den a few days ago. A reality show which invites 5 famous and rich capitalists(the people who are highly capable to invest in your bussiness proposal). In one of the series (season 4 episode 1), I was impressed to this one Jamaicain guys' dream of manufacturing and marketing his very own sauce. He is Levi Roots and his sauce is called the Reggae Reggae Sauce. Started to sell his sauce in the Notting Hill Carnival for the past few years has driven him to ask for a jump start for his sauce bussiness.  Although in the first place he was confused to actually believed that he had received a 2.5 million litre order which was in fact was only 2500 kilogrammes, the dragons(the capitalists) believed in his idea and invested 50,000 pounds on his bussiness. Lucky for him, after the show, he was approached by large ratailers such as Sainsbury and Waitrose to purchase his sauce to put on their shelves. Even lucklier, he has now become a millionaire from a pretty simple great idea. From a bottle of a sauce.. And I bought one yesterday.

He once said in the show with a Jamaicain ascent

''We might not have everything that we want , but what we would do for  little things that we have matters the most''.

Here is a clip of the song during the Dragons Den show.
